Here is a "scenario" of how it works:
Sell 100 tickets at $100 each for a total of $10,000.
The drawing for the Golden Paddle (as pictured) is conducted prior to the Live Auction.
The Golden Paddle provides the winner with a Credit “up to” $2,000 to be applied to a single item in the live auction.
Item sells for $2,500 minus “up to” $2,000 credit = $500 balance owed.
Item sells for $1,800 minus “up to” $2,000 credit = $0.00 owed.
This provides $8,000 to support your non-profit organization's mission!
The “up to” $2,000 Golden Paddle Credit is only redeemable in the Live Auction.
It can be used to bid on multiple items, and in turn, will help to drive up values on all of the items bid upon throughout the Live Auction.
Once the holder has won a Live Auction item, the Golden Paddle can no longer be used.
You can have the holder return the Golden Paddle for use again next year (or) let them keep it as a souvenir.
